How We Protect Your Data
Data between the app, devices & the cloud are encrypted and sent via our servers in the USA and Europe, built on Amazon Web Services.
Data is encrypted with a DES-based algorithm for transit. The camera and app authenticate themselves on connection. Server connections are via TCP. Video & audio transfers are via UDP.
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect data submitted to us or collected during operation.
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect data against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use.
We voluntarily comply with GDPR.
Information Collection
a. About you
When you use our platform, we may ask you for personal information to register an account on our App or connect to your device online. The types of personal information we collect include:
  • Email address or mobile number
  • Country information
  • Wi-Fi SSID and password
  • Payment method
b. Automated for Operation
When you communicate with our products or services, we collect some required information by automated means for operation purposes including:
  • Mac address and digital certification of the device
  • Encrypted video and audio content
  • Operation logs

  • Device configuration

How We Use It
a. Creating and managing your account. For example, sending verification codes to your email or mobile phone when you need to change your password. Once you do not need our service, you may choose to delete your account, and all account information will be deleted within 15 working days.
b. Providing you with the fastest local Cloud server, via your country or location. This is stored locally both in your mobile phone and the connected device. You may decline our request of location information, but please provide your country manually in order to use the nearest server.
c. Verify the authenticity of the device you are using via collecting the MAC address and digital certification. The information is automatically collected and stored on our Cloud.
d. Wi-Fi SSID and password is collected to enable the device connected to the Internet. WiFi SSID is stored in the device, and only used to process the binding operation by uploading to our Cloud for verification. The SSID & WiFi password are only stored locally in the device for connection purposes.
e. When you are controlling a device remotely via the Internet, the video and audio is encrypted & forwarded from our Cloud to your mobile phone. The transmitted content cached is not stored by us and all records will be deleted once you close the session.
f. When you are using our Cloud storage service, the encrypted video and audio content will be stored on our Cloud during your subscription so you can access your content. You may delete your recordings from our Cloud Service at any time by accessing your account. If your Cloud service expires, all related information will be deleted automatically within 15 days.
g. Operation logs contain the following information:
Account: name, IP address of mobile phone, port, App version, server location, time of login or sign up, time of binding, unbinding or sharing a device;
Device: MAC address, IP address and port, device certification and time of application, model, name, the owner’s account ID, firmware version, firmware update information, login time on server, server location and time record of video play, and disconnection from server.
h. Our website and mobile App may provide links to other online services for your convenience and information, and may include third-party features such as payment services (e.g., PayPal). Except for legally required information for financial transactions, such as transaction amounts, time, status and payment accounts, we will not collect or keep other information related to purchase.
i. When you contact us via in-App instant technical support or send feedback, we will collect information about your App account, country, device configuration and operation logs (or the information can be sent as an email attachment). This helps us to understand and solve the situation you are dealing with..
All above information & operation logs will be stored on our Cloud for no more than 30 days before being automatically deleted.
Third Parties
Except for the limited circumstances described in this Privacy Policy or your applicable agreement / Terms of Service, we do not provide your information to third parties.
We operate using Amazon Web Services. AWS hosts our platform and pushes notification messages from its data centers throughout the world.
We use PayPal to process subscription payments.
We use Mailgun for verification codes & key account-related communications.
While we provide these third parties with no more information than is necessary to enable them to provide services, any information that you provide independently is subject to their respective privacy policies and practices.
In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use the Services for illegal activities, and we may report to law enforcement any activities that we believe in good faith are unlawful. We may need to release the information we collect to third parties when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, to enforce our legal rights, to protect the rights, safety or property of our business and support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions.
Updates to our Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal information practices. We will post a notice on our website and push a notification in your mobile App if there are any significant changes to our Privacy Policy. We will always indicate at the top when it was most recently updated.
